A glove or partial glove prosthesis not only restores the shape of the hand, but may also restore function, allowing the patient to grasp or support objects. In many cases, armatures can be added inside the silicone fingers so that they may be positioned passively by the patient whenever desired. Nails can be made in silicone or acrylic.
