A nipple prosthesis restores the natural color and projection of missing areola and nipple. A prosthesis may be based on an impression of the contralateral side or the anatomy can be sculpted for bilateral prostheses. The prosthesis is retained by suction and/or adhesive. It may be attached to skin or a breast prosthesis for added realism beneath clothing.
