orbital (eye and lid) prostheses
An orbital prosthesis includes an ocular (the artifical acrylic eye) and the lids and surrounding area. An orbital prosthesis is custom-sculpted to match the natural average position of the contralateral eye and to create an overall facial balance. The edges of the prosthesis are thin and blend with the skin, and the frames of a pair of glasses help to disguise the prosthesis even more.
